On Wednesday the 24 of October Rooms 5,6 &7 had our Folk dancing celebration in the hall. We celebrated our learning with a small barn dance with live music provided by Sky Bus.
The children all danced with smiles on their faces and it was delightful to watch. They moved well together and laughed, danced and tripped over their left feet (particularly the parents in the final dance).
We had lots of wonderful parents come along and watch and they did a GREAT job of joining in on the spur of the moment. You can see on the slide show the delight in their faces!!
Thank you to Sky Bus for playing and Mr Bryant for organising the band. Thank you to those parents who attended. We hope you had fun!!

It was cool folk dancing and I got tuckered out at the end.
It was very fun and my Daddy didn't know what he was doing, or the other parents.
I liked the circle dance because I liked the skips and holding a partners hand to dance with.
The people who played the music did very well for their age.
I would like to do it again some time, I do love to dance!

I was so very proud of you all at the folk dancing, you danced very well and with smiles on your faces. You also treated each other with respect and you were all helpful with the parents.

I liked the folk dancing and it was cool.I danced with Mum and Jessicas Nana and Mrs Brown.
The folk dancing was cool. I liked dancing with the parents. The parents didn't know what to do. it was funny. Everyone did a great job. I wish my Mum was there. (and Mum wishes she was there too).

We enjoyed doing folk dancing and learning.all the diffint dances for the parents to wach.

Folk dancing is really cool. I enjoyed learning all of the dances. We learn 3 dances. The parents join in at the end. We had two kids from logan park school come and play the music for us.
