I would really love to know what makes us unique as New Zealanders. When I think about New Zealanders I think about Buzzy Bees, Marmite, Pavlova, L&P, Fred Dagg, Wearable Arts and of course Reuben Patterson an artist who is famous for working with glitter.

These are the things that make New Zealand special to me.
1) The Silver Fern
2) Beautiful Forests and bush
3) Weetbix
4) Sheep
5) Our ingenuity and DIY attitude.
6) Milo
Different kind of pernounciation.
Black colour for rugby and netball.
Only country with the silver fern and the kiwi.
The way we talk (our accent) makes us Kiwis. When we are overseas people know our accent is different.

When Dean and I lived in london we missed lots of things. Like Pavalova, peanut slabs, onion dip, the beach being so close, our car, christmas in the summer, BBQ's and the beautiful mountains in the South Island. We loved seeing your blog and can't wait to catch up and see what else you are up to in the classroom. From the Kinnanes

We are famous for our Cadbury Chocolate.
Our National Atham "God of Nations" is part of New Zealand's culture and is very special to us.
The All Blacks are our rugby team.
Black and White is New Zealands Colours.
We are known to be a clean and green country.
We have christmas holidays in the summer.
The Language we speak is English and some speak Maori.

Fairfield shcool had an umu.Umus are what people have in Samoa to cook their food.I liked the chicken drumstick the best. It was yummy.It was also a lot of fun.
