During parent interviews a thoughtful parent shared this video with me from the New Zealand bakery of the year website. Her brother in law works in advertising, and they were discussing our topic on holiday in Auckland! Isn't it great that learning goes beyond the classroom walls.
Have a look it is an interesting mix of Pop culture and Maori culture.

A great advertising gimmick. There are some clever people out there.
Mikayla and Shannon just watched this and they think it is really funny. The gingerbread men don't look quite as scary as when the All Blacks do the haka!
me and Imogen watched it
over and over and! over
I just can not watching it.
Imogen loved it it was so
funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the people showed us Maori Haka was very good. He looked very strong and he poked his tong out many times.
