We had our cross country today in the drizzle. It was great that we were able to run it as we have tried twice now because of the rain.
We were very nervous before hand and Mrs Brown took us for stretches.
It was a great run and two of our girls got a top four placing - Tayna and Madeline - YAY!! We also had two of our boys in the top four as well - Caleb and Josh!! We were very PROUD of everyone for putting in such an AWESOME effort! We had a great day and at 2:30 we had prize giving in the hall.
At Fairfield School we ask the children to wear a T-Shirt with the people who are sponsoring them for the run names on it. It is a great way to fund raise and also cool for the children to show the support they have. You can see the T-Shirts on some of the children in the top photo's. They made a great effort and Tyler won the boy's section. Well done Tyler.

Tayna said.... I cant Believe that I came 3rd in the cross country that was the first time I have got a placing in my LIFE!!!!

I'm so sorry I wasn't there.I was really looking foward to the Cross Country.I had diarea.But the worst part was I couldn't train.I was really sore all over.My tummy my head everything.I hope you all do veary well and I'll try to come next time.

hi this is nicole joshes sister i would like to say good work to every one in the cross country and to everyone who got a placeing!!!!! josh said.... i am very proud of myself for comming 4 in the cross country mum and dad were very proud of me nicole adds...... so was i!!!!!
I was just happy not to come last!!!!
