I spent the first 3 days of my holidays at a conference in Invercargill with my darling husband Iain. We went to an Inspire, Lead, Teach conference and I learnt lots things about ICT, emotional intelligence, brain based learning and some new strategies from the United Kingdom. All of these will help me become a better teacher!
As you can see in the comic Lily my 7 year old daughter, decided to make a play up about a dragon and a kangaroo! It never ceases to surprise me when I get to play the Dragon, The Wicked Witch, The Ogre (a common thing happening here!), Iain always gets to be the Prince charming, Handsome Prince, basically the hero of the story!!
Anyway Lily got me to pose in the photos exactly how she wanted me and she took the photos in photo booth. She then placed them in Comic Life and made a script. We hope you enjoy reading it, double click on the Comic and it will come up bigger.
Room 6 I hope you are having a FABULOUS holiday and enjoying every moment. You all had a super term and I was so very proud of you all.

I scared the dragon by using my powers by closing my eyes and putting my hand up to him. Lightning comes out of my hands when I imagine it to.
Gabriel was my kangaroo friend called Joe-Joe. He was watching me destroy the dragon with my powers.
Yes we will have a great holiday you make sure you do as well!! You can do a cartoon strip when you get back from holiday, Lily and Shannon are experts at it and will teach you.

I've been enjoying my holidays with Nana and Grandma and next week Dad's taking us to the movies to see Hair Spray. Should be cool. Hi Mrs C.B. It looks like you are having a pretty fun hoilday making cartoon scripts and dressing up in really cool dressups. I am enjoying my hoildays. Yesterday Dad took us to the movies. we went to see hair spray it was funny and had a lot of singing and dancing in the movie. we are also going to take Finn to the beach. I hope you have a great reast of the hoildays bye for now.

In the holidays I went to my friend Fletcher his mum Rebecca Ginny and fletchers little sister sophie and if you are wondering who Ginny and rebecca are they are my mum's friends. I played with Fletcher's marble run. We had yummy delicious homemade chicken pie for lunch and some juice with lemonade to drink. We played outside on the swings, slide and in the tree house. We had popcorn and milkshake to drink.

Wow, it was awesome I wish I could do that.
However you did that it was very good I liked it a lot .
I like the Comics they are really cool.
In the holidays I went to Australia and saw my Dad. We stayed on the Gold Coast and there was a pool at our Hotel so we got to swim lots and went to the beach lots of times too. Jordyn and I built a big sandcastle with about 8 buildings all around it. At Wet n Wild it was really really busy, it was packed with people but was really good fun! At Dreamworld we went on heaps of rides, like the Tower of Terror, a Log Ride and The Cyclone it was extreme fun!!! We went to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo too and saw Camels, Elephants, lots of Crocdiles, Lizards, Koalas, Kangaroos and Tigers with Cubs, plus a big 7 METRE LONG SNAKE!! I think it was that long anyway?? There was heaps of other animals too like goats Wombats, Sheep, little Cows and I think Guinea Pigs. But Bindy wasn't there for us to meet.
On the Plane coming back from Brisbane we hired a little miny TV for 15 Bucks and we bought some muffins and Coke cause we had money and no Adults to stop us buying what we wanted to.
