In Room 6 for home work this week we had to invent something that would protect us from the sun in Samoa. We were only allowed to use plastic bags, newspaper and a belt.
This is what our triplets in Room 6 did, and we think they were magnificent!

This was a fun project to do with the help from Mum and Dad. Dad cut out the brim of our hat from hard cardbord and mum blew the balloons up and we poked them through the middle. We ripped up lots of newspaper and made some glue from flour and water and covered the balloons. We had to let it dry overnight and then we platted some old rubbish bags and some flax to decorate them. It was a cool family project.
they looked realley cool in the hats
We thought the hats looked fantastic. You guys put lots of hard work into them. We loved how you did the paper-mache, that is heaps of fun to do.
