I decided to put a few photos on the blog of our wonderful holiday in Alexandra and Wanaka.
In the photos you will see some of the Room 6 children, we meet up and had an AWESOME time in Alexandra for New Years Eve. On New Years day we were lucky enough to go out for lunch together at a lovely restaurant called the Orchid Garden.
We then went on to Wanaka, where we enjoyed tenting and camping at Pleasant Lodge Motor camp. We love camping and we all enjoyed water sports, going for rides on a Catamaran, going out for tea, lots and lots of picnics, swimming in the hot pools at Oakridge, going out to cafe FE (one of my favourite places in Wanaka) and generally chilling out.
I love spending time with my family and having lots of adventures. My family and extended family are the most important thing to me. My Mum and Dad feature in the photos as well!
I feel very lucky to have all that I do.
I hope you all enjoyed your holidays as much as I did!!! I am looking forward to this year and all of the different adventures at school.

You look like you had a great holiday. We went to the pools at Oakridge too and I loved it!!!We had an iceblock after our swim. We also went rock climbing at Basecamp just down the road from the pools.
I have loved my first 2 days in your classroom.

I loved Oakridge as well it was one of my favourite things in Wanaka.

I went to Alex to have Christmas dinner with my Nana and Grandad. I liked being with all my cousins. We played at the park and went for a walk to the clock. I went swimming at the pool too.
Room 6 is fun. I like having a desk and Mrs CB is cool. I wonder when we are going to get our spelling test results.

Hi Mrs CB On holiday I also went to Wanaka with my family we went on lots of bike rides to the lake and park. We also went to Basecamp and I climbed up the top we went to Puzzle World and had fun in the maze.

I love puzzle world the maze is a fun place to be Hannah. I have never been to Basecamp but I am sure we will check it out next time.
I went to camping at lake Benmore. It was so hot that we had to swim in the lake to keep cool. I was the first one to go in the bisket with my freind George. We went to lots of bays with the boat. I didn't want to leave because I loved swimming in the lake. I jumped of the waterswing.

Hi Alisha, no I don't watch the Simpsons much but Mr C-B does. I normally am doing work at that time or playing Netball.
We have road signs in our room because we have buildings being built near us and I thought it would be fun to have our room look the same.
I like going to the beach to wash the waves as well.
You are great in the classroom and I think you are a great artist. Do you enjoy art?
