WOW what an amazing day we had. Thank you to Mrs Wood and our student council for organising such a cool event.
We had ducklings, rabbits, blue tongued lizards, dogs, goats, cats, fish, guinea pigs, rats, mice, soft toys that had been dressed up and an ant farm. I have never been involved in such a cool pet day before at any of my previous school's.
We went to different rooms and did an activity linking in with the pet theme. The children in my room made a habitat and a mixed up animal. Lots of creative ideas! We then went back to our rooms and made sand saucers which were later judged by the council for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Then we wandered from class to class looking at all of the wonderful things people had made and all of the animals.
After lunch we had a pet parade where and each section was judged by a lady from pet planet (the lady from pet planet donated some AWESOME prizes). We then had an assembly where the lady fro the SPCA came and talked to us bringing Walter the dog. We presented her with our donations that we had brought along to school.

I know that Lily was hugely excited by Pet Day, and can't wait for the next one! In fact she has already lined up her next pet day 'guest star'.

I loved pet day some little kids were laughing at my dog zeke because his pants were falling of.Amy deserved to get a certificate for her sand saucer because it had the big candle in the sand and the lovely flowers put into patterns.I was surprised when Charlotte brought along a huge bucket of flowers.Mason thought his dog Gordin got of the leash but his sister had him.I loved the cute little ducklings that someone brought along they were so cute they tried to fly away in the bucket when the person was going up the lane.

Tayna said I was laughing to at your dog to.Do you know i had a cat named Zeke but when i was 5 my cat Zeke RAN away it was really sad because he always used to snuggle up with me!!!!

I liked how we got to share our dogs and I liked how the toy puppies were spotted and just about like Tobys fur.

I liked it when I got to do a trick with my dog Ollie. Ollie was very interested in the cats.
Walking in the parade with everyone and their pets was really cool.
