Giving our Petra bead money to Christine!

We invited Christine to come and visit us on the Super Hero Day to give her our Petra bead's money. Christine works for Child Cancer and it was great having her in our classroom. We gave her our $417.00 dollars that we had made.

We were so proud of ourselves and Christine gave us a certificate and some balloon's and tattoo's. Nicole (Hannah's Mum) came and took photo's she works for Child Cancer as well. Nicole rang the Star Newspaper to tell them what we had done, and then at 11:30am the reporter came out and took our photo and asked some questions so she could write a report on us for the newspaper.

It was so cool and such a great experience for us and great to make a difference in some way. We were Super Heroes and we hope to continue helping other people.

I WAS SO PROUD OF YOU ALL - Mrs C-B

Thank you Nicole for all of your help!

Room 6 leave a comment and tell us what you thought of our Super Hero experience. What did you like best? Why did you like it? How did it make you feel giving to other people?

Hi Mrs C-B,
I felt happy giving the money to Christine and supporting child cancer, my favourite part of the Super hero topic was dressing up like super heros and getting our photos taken for the news paper, I can't wait to see the picture.

It was fun donating bead bracelet money to child cancer.

I enjoyed dressing up for super hero day and had a cool day. I got my costume from my Mums friends house and she had made a bat girl costume so I borrowed it.

I thought the super hero day was fun because everybody in room 5 and 6 and 10 got to wear super hero stuff.

It was great to raise money and do the parade.

MY favorite part on super-hero day was when christine and nicole came to school and we got balloons and tattoos and photos. I loved getting my cool purple balloon. It made me feel really happy and good inside my heart to give money to child cancer.
